Hospice UK CLAHRC Research Associate or Assistant
The University of Manchester invites applications for a research post within the NIHR Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care (CLAHRC) Greater Manchester (GM). CLAHRC GM is a partnership between providers and commissioners from the NHS, industry and the third sector, as well as clinical and research staff from the University of Manchester.
We are looking for a Research Associate or Research Assistant (1.0 FTE, 8 months) funded by Hospice UK and CLARHC GM to develop and conduct End of Life Care research and implementation in collaboration with world-leading researchers and a network of community NHS providers across Greater Manchester.
The successful applicant will work at the University of Manchester with Prof Gunn Grande, Division of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work. The postholder may also be required to work from the CLAHRC GM offices at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust and across Greater Manchester as appropriate.
Overall Purpose of the Posts:
- To work with multiple stakeholders to develop, design and undertake end of life care research across Great Manchester and beyond, as appropriate.
- To work with analysts and other team members to analyse and present project data
- To work on development and conduct of a national survey of Hospice UK member organisations to investigate current provision for family carers, funded by Hospice UK and CLAHRC GM
