Applications are invited for a Post-Doctoral position available in the group of Prof Casiraghi, School of Chemistry, University of Manchester. The project will mainly focus on the use of water based and ink-jet printable graphene (and other 2D-crystals) inks, recently developed in the group, in thermoelectrics. The project is in collaboration with Prof Novoselov (School of Physics) and Dr Kretinin (School of Materials).

This post is available to be filled from July 2017 for up to two years. Applicants should have a PhD (by the start date) or equivalent experience in Chemistry, Material Science, Physics or related subjects.

Preference will be given to applicants with significant experience on inkjet-printing of graphene and other 2-D crystals and/or in thermoelectric measurements. The candidate should also be well-organised and self-motivated with excellent oral and communication skills. A strong publication record in internationally peer-reviewed journals is required.
