The House Services section provides porter, cleaning and postal services throughout academic buildings.
You will assist in the planning, programming and supervision of House Services functions for a building or group of buildings on the University campus.
The post operates primarily as a working supervisor to ensure the delivery of high quality customer focused service support. This involves leading a team of staff to ensure the delivery of a customer-focused gleaning and porter service. You will be responsible for the allocation of staff to ensure work is completed to the required standard and contribute to the training of staff.
You will hold or be working towards a relevant Management qualification or have relevant experience in a similar position, and possess NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent in Cleaning Skills. You will have excellent communication skills, and have experience of using the Microsoft Office Suite package.
