We’re the AUA, the professional association for higher education administrators and managers.  As well as being a representative voice for HE professions we’re here to support and guide our members as they define and develop their HE careers.  We are a professional community of likeminded people who recognise the importance of their role and contribution to higher education, their institutions and its students and who take their own professional development, and that of others,  seriously.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic communications and marketing specialist to join us for the next two years to support the delivery of our communications strategy which has already resulted in significant internal investment in a new CRM system and brand project, delivered in September this year.

You will work with a range of internal and external stakeholders with responsibilities ranging from securing sponsorship for our flagship conferences to writing copy for our website, and as editorial assistant you will coordinate the timely and effective delivery of our publications.

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated professional who can demonstrate strong team and organisational skills to manage their own workload and meet fixed deadlines.  You will enjoy meeting new people and building effective relationships and will be able to evidence your experience of working in a communications and marketing environment.

You will draw on your proven marketing background and ‘can do’ energetic approach to proactively contribute to the small but ambitious communications team at the AUA.

As an equal opportunities employer we welcome applicants from all sections of the community regardless of gender, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation and transgender status.  All appointments are made on merit.
