This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious postdoctoral graduate with the ability and confidence to manage a collaborative partnership with The University of Manchester and Process Integration Limited (PIL). PIL specialises in process improvement technologies for the oil, gas, petrochemical, and chemical industries by identifying innovative improvements in operation and design.
We are looking to recruit a graduate with a PhD in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or another related subject involving numerical mathematics, machine learning, and programming, to undertake this 36-month project. The overall aim of this project is to develop, embed, and exploit expertise in data mining, machine learning, and data-driven modelling techniques to enable PIL to provide market leading technology to the refining industry.
