We aim to appoint an exceptional individual who will enhance our research and teaching. The Department was ranked 4th in the UK in the Guardian 2018 University Guide.
- hold a PhD in a relevant area and have a track record of research and publication in Quaternary environmental change
- have a definable area of research and teaching interests that will complement and strengthen those already present within the Quaternary Environments and Geoarchaeology Group and the wider context of Geography at Manchester
- demonstrate success in securing research funding or experience of the application process
