You will join the Modelling and Simulation Centre (MaSC), which brings together leading numerical modelling expertise in all areas of engineering and materials science. 

The Universities of Manchester and Birmingham are collaborating in a three-year EPSRC-funded project under the “Design by Science” call, applying integrated computational materials engineering (ICME) to welded components made from powder-formed AISI 316L material.
