A postdoctoral Research Associate position is available for an outstanding and ambitious physicist or materials scientist to undertake research in the field of micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) made of graphene and other 2-dimensional materials, particularly in the design, fabrication and testing of graphene MEMS microphones.
You should have, or be working towards, a PhD or equivalent in physics, materials science, electrical/electronics engineering or equivalent. Expertise in clean-room based micro/nanofabrication and characterisation of graphene or other 2-D material devices is essential. You should be capable of working under your own initiative and as part of a research team, so excellent communication and organisational skills are also required.
