We are seeking to appoint a Research Fellow to work across the three N8 Agrifood Themes (Sustainable Food Production, Resilient Supply Chains, and Improved Consumption and Health) in conjunction with academics and industrial partners from across the physical sciences and engineering, clinical and life sciences together with humanities (including business schools).

You will help develop existing networks across the University covering the different disciplines involved in delivering activity related to the N8 Agri-Food themes, working as a bridge between academia, industrial and retail partners.

You must possess the skills to help develop active collaborations and linkages between the three themes covering research in agriculture, food and nutrition in order to help N8 AgriFood partnership achieve their key objectives. The first-hand experience of developing or working within transdisciplinary projects with active industrial or policymaker engagement will be critical. A background in research would be an advantage.
