The University of Manchester seeks to appoint a Lecturer in Pedagogies for Development (teaching-focused) in the Global Development Institute. We are looking to appoint an outstanding individual who will make a central and strategic contribution to, and support the enhancement of, our research-led teaching programmes in development studies.
The appointee will be expected to make a contribution to teaching development studies and to work with existing staff to improve the student experience and the quality and effectiveness of approaches to teaching, learning and assessment.
As an equal opportunities employer, we welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons. However, as black and minority ethnic/Women candidates are currently under-represented at this level in this area, we would particularly welcome applications from BME/Women candidates. All appointments will be made on merit.
