While this post is teaching-focused, such that the pursuit and publication of research is not formally a requirement, nor is time allocated to such activity, you would be expected to enhance your scholarship by engagement with the research community. Although we are not able to offer explicit monetary resource or time in support of your own research, we would encourage applications from those with serious research interests working towards an academic career, and would endeavour to provide a context in which you could develop your own research ambitions to a limited extent. For posts such as this, 10% of time is dedicated to scholarship within the School’s work allocation model.

As an equal opportunities employer, we welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons. As we are committed to the principles of the Race Equality Charter Mark, we would particularly welcome applications from the black and minority ethnic (BME) community who are currently under-represented at this level in this area.  All appointments will be made on merit.
