A Research Associate position is available for an outstanding and ambitious researcher to undertake research in the field of reactor and process design and testing for decarbonised hydrogen and chemicals production for 12 months.

You should have, or be working towards, a PhD or equivalent in chemical engineering, energy engineering, focused on reactor design and process development with proven experience in advanced reactor modelling, knowledge on gas-solid reactions and catalysis. Previous experience on chemical looping and reactor design and testing are desirable and particularly welcome. You should be capable of working under your own initiative and leading a small research team, so excellent communication and organisational skills are also required.

This post is subject to funding.
