The University of Manchester invites applications for a professional Manager to run the Manchester China Institute (MCI), which promotes excellence in research, teaching, and programming about China across the University. The MCI Manager will work closely with the MCI Director to establish MCI as a global leader in China studies, with an emphasis on promoting mutual understanding in UK-China relations.
You must have the ability to think strategically, set objectives, and priorities. You must be able to lead academic and professional staff, and represent MCI in public settings. You should have excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, and project management, marketing, IT, social media, and web content management skills. You should be able to think creatively and work independently.
