The School of Social Sciences requires a Student Experience Administrator (Undergraduate) to work in the Teaching, Learning and Student Experience Office as soon as possible for 12 months.
The role will include working closely with the Programme and Student Experience Officer (UG) and UG Programme Directors. You will be the central point of contact for key contacts within the School, Faculty and central University administration. You will be part of an integrated team providing administrative support to undergraduate programmes, specifically Law and Criminology, in the School. You will be required to play a key role in the organisations development and administrative support of the programme/s, acting as the central point of contact. The role involves supporting programme delivery and maintaining the quality of the UG programmes.
This will include liaison with key contacts within and outside the University (i.e. Programme Directors, colleagues within the School and, University administrative and academic staff, students and prospective students).
You will have previous experience of working within a busy office environment. You will possess excellent organisational skills, oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and sensitively. You will be self-motivated, able to demonstrate a flexible approach to work and be able to work independently and to show initiative and have the ability to adapt to constantly changing challenges and provide creative solutions. You will be used to meeting deadlines using judgement to prioritise competing demands. You will have the ability to work extremely accurately with a high volume of complex and detailed data and maintain excellent standards of accuracy under pressure. In addition, you will have excellent IT skills and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
