Two Postdoctoral Research Associate positions with Prof. David J. Procter are available for up to 36 months each and will involve the development of sulfoxides as substrate activators for metal-free cross-couplings. Two outstanding and ambitious synthetic organic chemists are required, preferably with experience in methodology development and target synthesis. You should be capable of working under your own initiative and leading a research team, so excellent communication and organisational skills are also required. You should have, or be working towards, a PhD in synthetic organic chemistry.
