Following a major new 5 year strategic award to establish a world-leading Productivity Institute, we are seeking to appoint a Content Officer to be based at Alliance Manchester Business School. The role is offered on an initial fixed term contract, with the option to extend.

The Content Officer will be responsible for producing a range of content to support the development of the Institute’s external reputation. Content will include digital outputs such as an online dashboard, webinars, podcasts, blogs, and a quarterly bulletin reporting on the latest data, insights and projects undertaken in the Institute. This will be derived from the Institute’s research and wider activities, including from its Regional Stakeholder Forums. The role will involve ensuring all content produced across the Institute follows brand guidelines and using analytics and other tools to track impact and reach. They will also be responsible for managing the Institute’s social media channels.

The ideal candidate will have very strong communication skills, be cognisant of the higher education environment and culture, have proven relevant experience in communications, public relations, digital marketing, journalism or professional video production and copy writing, and demonstrable experience of writing engaging copy for online and print audiences.
