We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual with experience in creating effective digital and educational communications materials to join the Manchester Cancer Research Centre (MCRC) Strategic Team in a new Education and Communications Manager role.

You will be expected to oversee the development and delivery of the NCITA education programme through timely communication materials and delivering a yearly national cancer imaging conference. In addition, ypu will be expected to contribute, support and independently develop high quality communication materials that support imaging research and support the education, scientific, and public engagement communication activities within the MCRC aligned with its partners (The University of Manchester, Cancer Research UK, The Christie NHS Foundation Trust).

This post is funded by the Cancer Research UK National Cancer Imaging Translational Award (NCITA).

You will hold a university degree in a relevant discipline (or have equivalent relevant experience). In addition, you should have a natural flair for creating bespoke communication materials that effectively communicate imaging research or other activities to researchers or other audiences. You should also have excellent networking skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues from across the NCITA and MCRC partnerships.

The post will be based at the Oglesby Cancer Research Building in South Manchester.
