The Dame Kathleen Ollerenshaw Trust Research Associate role is for researchers at an early stage of their career. Applicants are expected to have, or be about to obtain, a relevant PhD (or equivalent) in pure mathematics
Your primary duty will be conducting high quality research in any area of pure mathematics that complements and extends existing research activity within the Department of Mathematics. You should provide a research statement, which should be at most two sides of A4 excluding references. This must include the name of a current member of staff at the Department of Mathematics who has agreed to act as mentor for the duration of the Fellowship, and must provide a brief justification for the choice of mentor.
