The Dame Kathleen Ollerenshaw Trust Research Associate role is for researchers at an early stage of their career.  Applicants are expected to have, or be about to obtain, a relevant PhD (or equivalent) in pure mathematics

Your primary duty will be conducting high quality research in any area of pure mathematics that complements and extends existing research activity within the Department of Mathematics. You will be expected to work independently, but an important aspect of this position is an association with a current member of staff within the Department, whose research interests are closely aligned to those of the applicant, and who will act as a mentor.

You should provide a research statement, which should be at most two sides of A4 excluding references.
