Applications are invited for the LuCiD Centre Manager role. The post is available from the 1st September 2021 and will be tenable on a fixed term basis for 38 months until 31st October 2024. The Centre Manager will be responsible for the overall management and administration of the Centre along with the three academic directors.

This post offers the opportunity to join a thriving research group at the University of Manchester, and become a member of the ESRC International Centre for Language and Communicative Development (LuCiD), a multi-million pound collaboration between the Universities of Manchester, Liverpool and Lancaster.

This is an exciting and varied role within a thriving research group. The ideal candidate will be an experienced project manager skilled in financial management, communications, relationship-building and research administration. They will be highly organised, approachable and have excellent problem solving skills. They should also demonstrate an interest in Early Years education, language acquisition, developmental psychology, linguistics or a related field.

You should be educated to at least degree level or with equivalent experience and have experience of working in the higher education sector or an academic/research environment.
