Applications are invited for the post of Research Associate working in the field of Innovation, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Geography, Policy, HRM or other related field with a quantitative component awarded or defended prior to commencing the appointment. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a funded project with researchers at the Manchester Institute of Innovation Research (MIoIR) and the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, aiming at providing insights into the puzzle digital transformation-skills-employment.
The successful applicant will be an experienced researcher with outstanding knowledge of management and innovation research and substantial quantitative background. The applicant will be responsible for running a survey on adoption of digital technologies and digital skills in Greater Manchester. The successful candidate will take responsibility for survey design and implementation, data collection and data analysis, elaboration of a report for technical and non-technical audiences and draw relevant policy recommendations.
