We seek an Experimental Officer (or a person with graduate level training and relevant technical expertise) to provide multi-parameter analysis by flow cytometry to members of our NIHR Biomedical Research Centre. This full-time role is for 3 years, and the successful applicant will work closely with Professor Tracy Hussell and Dr John Grainger in the Lydia Becker Institute of Immunology and Inflammation (https://sites.manchester.ac.uk/lydia-becker-institute/ ).
The primary aim of this role is to widen the reach of Immunology across areas of clinical unmet need and develop standardized methods to allow interrogation across studies and tissues. This is a dynamic and demanding role and will involve flexibility and the ability to prioritise tasks in order to deliver results. The post holder’s role will be to ensure effective and professional liaison and communication with academic, administrative and external customers at all levels.
