This fixed term full-time post creates an opportunity to further your career in modern “omics”, big data analysis and complex diseases. We are looking for a PhD/higher degree holder in statistics, bioinformatics or computer sciences and experience in analysis of big data, genetics, transcriptomics and other “omics”. The post holder with lead on investigations into molecular mechanisms of hypertension as a part of NIHR funded Manchester Biomedical Research Centre Integrative Cardiovascular Theme. Excellent programming skills and knowledge of recent developments in omics-based research are essential.
