Research Associate in Representation Theory

A Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available for an outstanding and ambitious pure mathematician to undertake research in the field of representation theory of finite groups, particularly in the representation theory of finite groups of Lie type. You will work with Dr Charles Eaton as part of the EPSRC funded project Morita Equivalence Classes of Blocks.

You should have, or be working towards, a PhD or equivalent in representation theory. Expertise in the modular representation theory of finite groups of Lie type is essential.
